Summer Acting Boot Camp

Dive into the world of film and stage, as we explore improvisation, movement, acting techniques, theater games, character study, acting exercises, monologues, stage directions and acting for the camera technique.

About Our Instructor

Angeline Renee Cook has over 25 years of expertise in film and theater. She trained as an actor with legends Milton Katselas, Tony Barr, Don Finn, Howard Fine and Tracy Roberts, in addition to training and mentorship by film and television greats Hilly Elkins, Ted Post, Elliot Kastner and Jerry Weintraub.  As a founding company member of Stages Theatre, Angeline earned several accolades as a director and playwright, including Best New Artist Voice. She graduated from California State University Fullerton while also studying at the University of California Los Angeles and Fullerton College and completing an internship with the Directors Guild of America. She has worked as a performer and director with theatre’s in Los Angeles and New York City and her favorite role was Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. In addition to her love of theatre and the performing arts, Angeline is a former COO and Financial Analyst, Talent Agent and award winning Producer. She is an active member of SAG/AFTRA, DECA, ABA, Film Independent Artist Circle, Yoga Alliance and a volunteer with Community Hospice.

• Lunch available. Daily snacks and drinks provided. (Bag lunches are encouraged!) Pizza party each Friday!

    •    Camp begins every day at 9:00am and concludes promptly at 3:00 pm. 

    •    Actors have four to five daily sessions, lunch and two 10-minute breaks

• Extended Day from 3-5PM offered for $35 per day or $125 per week (both times)

• Code of Conduct required to be signed by all students and parents
